thats very true. and you guys can downvote all you want, but its the truth. there are ppl out there who have been training in dance, theater, and voice lessons since they were 4, i’m just hoping everyone who goes after this is aware of that fact because there are other fulfilling careers out there, also in film and television.
i dont live in a city and i dont have an acting coach but i go to theatre so its not really just focussed on acting its split between acting dance and singing is that good enough so i can get into commercials or movies i only started in september it not that perfesional either do i need more focussed lessons?

hi my name is danielle im 15 i live in erie pennsylvania and i want 2 become a teenage actress. i havent performed in anything but i practice plays that i get of the internet and do then with friends which im gunna be having a webshow called the dj show with me and my friend jamiera and where gunna be doing short plays and other cool stuff so look out 4 us. and i dont even care if i am a backroung actress at first and then go int bigger things.
im 11 too and this summer i am going to the walt disney studios burbank los angles very easy just have to confident and know all the lines ect.

first of all agencies that ask for money up front are scams! agencies get 10 percent out of all ur paychecks! Oh and before you even think about talking to an agent….. take a film class! they really help and are good experience for ur reseme!

pshh new york and LA are awesome places!! i wish i was in LA or new york theres alot more auditions and films,commercials and stuff being held there. but its harder to find a legit agent bc there are so many bc new york is such a big industry market. whatever that means idk what the right word is for it lol
yes you do need an agent, its REALLY hard if you look for auditions yourself. your agents get calls or contact from casting directors that say (for example “oh hey we need teen girls between the ages of 13-15 with blonde hair and a quirky personality” ur agent looks through their clients and thinks wether or not you would be good for that role then if you match the character discription ur agent will tell you where the auditions will be held then u go there and then good luck i guess etc… =D
