I think he makes a better dancer than a skater. You can see were he uses much of his skating training to his dancing, and this is something I personally like. It gives him his own style – a spectacular style! And who can argue with a dancer who can do tripple axels?!
I love watching him, but I don’t think I like him as a person… This time around though – much better job !!

I actually love Emanuel (: as a skater AND a dancer.. he was an amazing skater to watch in person. I am glad he has made it this far in the show (:
he is actually a VERY nice guy I have met him because i am a figuer skater and he came to our club and hung out with me.. hes a little weird tho
but.. to be honest knowing the difficulty it takes to do a triple axel and jump and spin on the ice i can’t say he wasn’t a good skater, i just never liked the style. i don’t like his dancing though. it is too stiff almost somehow.
well he is a trained ballet dancer, but having said that…i just re watched his audition from last year that people seem to forget. that is the Emmanuel i really can’t stand. it is one thing to be confidant, but my good god, he was so cocky and rude and thought he was the best of the best in both genres. Mary Murphy? seriously? talked about him around the world?
He was never a good skater, you’re right. He’s not a good dancer either. He’s not on the ice anymore and I think he’s forgetting that with all the overused jumping tricks. Dancing is about how you use your body on a dancefloor not in the air. And he dances too much like a girl.

i never liked him as a skater, sorry. i think it had more to do with his attitude. he was caught so many times showing very bad sportsmanship and it bothered me.

i am actually surprised he has been in this show as long as he has. i guess the audience has forgiven his behaviour. good luck to him

I’ll miss him as a skater, especially at next years Olympics, but I gotta say, I’m so proud that he made it onto this season! I’ll be rooting for him!! Rep Vancouver for us Emanuel!
He rocks. I love him as a dancer but I ADORE him as a skater. Too bad he was too much of a head case to compete well in skating…best of luck to him in this dance competition!

He is probably one of the most LOVED AND HATED contestants on the show right now. You can’t deny his stage presence though. However, personally, I still prefer Jeff Buttle and Patrick Chan over him!
