shoot : drama, romance, action, and comedy. And still have the ability to tie it all together. The original cut was 9 minutes, so you can imagine how much I had to rape my film just to get it down to 5 minutes. For example…the foot chase went from 30 seconds to 8. I will be posting the full version once the competition is over. … Project Direct 2009 entry icebreaker sundance short film drama comedy action romance acting movie tv award winner love school art body dump freezing ice boston …

nice one.. that bitch changed his fucking life.
Thanks for the vote of confidence. Maybe I’ll try that.
Great-looked real profressional-should make a mini series and sell it to a tv network-I’d watch it for sure!!Good Luck for the future (though I dont think you’ll need it).
from another film maker……….good job guys:-)
Good job! Your editing was great.
i really enjoyed it i almost felt the narration was a bit like fight club and eternal sunshine of the spotless mind which is my favourite kind. you could deffinently turn that into a really good movie story line and everythings there i hope you get funding for it keep doing what your doing its awsome
Thanks man, you should see the 2 trailers i chopped, there nothing special, but if you don’t have any footage to work with the concept isn’t to bad, just look on my page, there called the golden knight
I could so see those influences. I was wondering if you were thinking Tom Cruise for some of the scenes. LOL I gotta say, I like the way you write and think.
Thanks man, I wrote the entire narration the same night we shot the ice scene, so i was dying. Really glad you liked it, To me it was based around movies like risky business and girl next door, so in the beginning it was watching Tom cruise movies that got me inspired and another tom cruise movie that got me out of that jam with the girl.
fantastic
By the way, the line “And so down he goes like the Mets in September” has to be one of my favorite movie lines ever. Kudos.
I’ll be keeping an eye out for it!
Might have been a rip-off of M:I, but it was still well-performed and well-shot. Doesn’t take away anything from the movie.
I have a bit of experience writing screenplays and working with talent. I have to say, I’ve never understood how some people’s boyfriends can get really upset about a stage kiss.
Hell, I dated an actress once, and went to every one of her performances, and was never once put off by it.
Some things I guess I’ll never understand.
Congrats you were the first to notice that, the girls boyfriend didn’t want her to kiss anyone so we ripped of mission impossible, good eye man, the full version will be on in a few days
I would love to see the full nine minutes of this film! Director’s cut, anyone?
And the scene where she grabs his hand and holds it to her face reminds me of Mission: Impossible.
Great! this storyline could be extended soooo well, you should try it
Scorcese-esque
nice job
decent. but a girl that cheers for the oilers shouldnt be making movies about boston. she should be making movies about Deadmonton…
good job. maybe a bit corny, but a pretty solid job.
“You know what george, there’s always summer school.”
What did he say at 4:21 min ?!
wow great job man. This is one of those films that really inspirers somebody like me, who was afraid to enter anything because of having a low budget. thanks!! and great job!
joel…throw bigger rocks
