You want to take 8 x 10, printed on matted paper (not shiny)
because the shiny paper reflects to much light.
The person that said an 8 x 10 with 4 pictures meant 4 4 x 5
but when models are out looking for a contract their photo album is normally full of 8 x 10’s
Good luck, you are certainly pretty enough to be a model.
Oh my Gosh! That’s terriffic! Good Luck! I always wanted to be a model for dELiA*s!
Well, I’m not sure how many you should bring but, you should have at least one head shot, full body shot, mid-body shot (from the waist up) and make sure you have pictures of you smiling (with teeth showing and not showing) and a simple staight face. They might ask to keep some photos for reference too! Yes, I think wallet size is too small. Maybe 5 by 7 photos. You could put your pictures in clear plastic sheet protectors (like what you put paper in) so they won’t get damaged. Again good, good luck!! And best wishes.
I’ve done the modeling thing and you should take pics of various sizes. They also like polaroid pics. Really it doesn’t matter as long as they can get a good idea of how you take pics. Make sure you have the right lighting in the pics, it makes a huge difference. Not too much make up either. Good luck.
hmm, i would think like regular sized pictures. like the size you’s put in a photo album.
they usually use a4.
Have them each be 9″ tall and 8″ wide. Big enough to see detail at least.
My sister did modeling for a while –
a package of 8×10 glossies is pretty much the standard.
Anything smaller doesn’t show enough detail.
If you have a portfolio just bring that. If you don’t polariods should be fine. Make sure you have headshots, 3/4 shots, and full body shots in good lighting. Good Luck.
8X10 each picture. Hopefully, they have been taken by a professional photographer.
i would think its more quality of the picture than size, however when i did the miss texas pageant i turned in two wallet size pictures.
Bring good pictures! Don’t focus on how many you have.
A close-up, mid-shot and a full length picture are necessary..
